The term 'Print Order Management Software' can sometimes be confusing – we sometimes hear it used to describe a Print MIS solution, based on the fact that this type of software is used to manage print orders through the lifecycle and includes functionality such as: creating sales invoices and tracking order progress, etc. But we’ve also heard the term used to refer to the web-to-print software that printing companies use to create an online e-commerce storefront - presumably, because Web-2-Print software is used to manage online orders for print.

At Tharstern we avoid using this phrase to describe our software, as it doesn’t encompass the whole range of functionality provided by our comprehensive business workflow solution. While the Tharstern MIS does include features for the ordering of print jobs, along with the management of print orders, it incorporates a vast range of additional features too.
