Point of Sale Screenprint specialist, Image Factory, have chosen TharsternSQL as their print Management Information System.

September 2003 saw Image Factory move into its new 65,000sq foot factory in Chippenham, ideally positioned for all major UK routes. A £3.6 million investment programme has also seen the installation of impressive new production facilities and now the addition of a TharsternSQL MIS.

Previously Image Factory has operated without a MIS system but was keen to put one in place to help enhance their workflow. As part of an in-depth review they considered a number of suppliers but found Tharstern to be the most user-friendly.

Theresa Mcfarlane, IT administrator, of Image Factory advised. “As part of the Quarto Group our new MIS and machinery has been carefully selected to compliment other group facilities, suit existing clients requirements, and most importantly give Image the edge in an increasingly competitive market.”

“Tharstern is a user-friendly and flexible system which will allow us to easily communicate accurate and up-to-date job information across our factory with minimum effort. We are initially implementing the suite licence modules but also believe the Scheduling and Accounts link modules would be beneficial to us in the future.”
