With the commencement of Drupa fast approaching Tharstern are proud to announce that they will be attending the world market print show as part of the CIP4 Parc (Hall 4 Booth A33) and the NGP pavilion (Hall 4 Booth 22).

The main reason for this approach comes down to the Job Definition Format an industry standard designed to simplify information exchange between different applications and systems in and around the Graphic Arts industry. Tharstern being committed to harnessing technology and developing their software recognised the potential that JDF will provide for existing and new users.

The industry has always recognised MIS as being an essential tool to printers but this is becoming even more so with the introduction of JDF says Managing Director Keith McMurtrie. We have invested a large amount of time and money to ensure that our latest product will embrace the JDF technology so we can provide printers of any type and size with a solution that makes them completely connected. With JDF being a key feature at the Drupa show (6th – 19th May 2004) we wanted to be involved in something where we could demonstrate the interoperability of Tharstern with other familiar products and we are confident that being a part of this will help to clearly highlight how TharsternSQL can be of benefit to the print sector.
