Lavenham Press Limited has almost completed their Tharstern Training and is looking forward to going live with TharsternSQL MIS.

Lavenham Press has been established for over 50 years and is still an independent, family owned and run company. With over 50 employees and full print production facilities they provide a wide range of services and have built and retained a strong customer base.

The Suffolk based printers have operated for some years with a bespoke estimating and management system but wanted a more comprehensive system and so invested in an 8 user Tharstern MIS.

Terence Dalton, Managing Director, of Lavenham Press advised. “We regard the TharsternSQL not just as a management Information System but as a total communication tool both internally and externally.”

“As we offer full production facilities in-house we have a comprehensive plant using the latest technologies such as Screen CtP Trueflow, a battery of Heidelberg colour presses and full range of finishing equipment. Using Tharstern, and in particular the Shop Floor Data Capture module, we have managed to connect the whole print process together by ensuring there is access for all our staff to either input or access information via Tharstern.”

Terrance added. “We are certainly looking forward to completing our implementation and given time using TharsternSQL will make significantly positive changes to our processes; making the job information and progress much more visible and providing us with a wealth of information to strengthen our workflow.”
