Synapse Upfront is a powerful planning solution that captures decades of hard-to-find planning experience as reusable plans and layouts. The planning tool checks the layouts against its comprehensive database of press and finishing equipment capabilities and then prints accurate job layouts quickly and easily. Upfront also produces Preps templates and job files with optional CIP3 cutting and binding information, allowing planners to streamline their entire print production cycle.

For printers, Metrix is a groundbreaking tool that quickly and automatically calculates even complex layouts for different sized flat and folded products, so helping commercial printers maximise the utilisation of their presses, finishing equipment and labour, while reducing raw materials consumption and stock wastage. It implements Computer Integrated Production – from JDF data imported from MIS to output of Preps templates for platemaking and CIP4 finishing data.
