The Yorkshire based Image Data Group have invested £140k in the TharsternSQL Management Information System.

The Image Data Group handles accounts from many blue-chip and household name companies across industry sectors and over a period of 20 years has grown to achieve a turnover in excess of £25m. The Group has built a reputation for constantly investing in the latest proven technology and equipment in order to supply premium quality print solutions at very competitive prices and within aggressive timescales!

Says, Roger Birkin, Chairman of the Image Data Group. “We have established a reputation for being a world pioneer in data-driven print and imaging technology. We cover a wide spectrum of printing and so are in a position to offer a unique combination of services from data management, e-solutions and data-driven print through to digital, large format and litho printing. This meant we were looking for an integrated and efficient system that was diverse enough to handle our different processes and also capable of keeping pace with our future plans. We felt Tharstern fitted the bill perfectly and are confident that what they have to offer us will provide both processing and cost advantages that we can pass on to our customers.”

Roger further adds. “The Image Data Group has a number of future plans including offering on-line request for quotes, ordering and proofing to our customers and Tharstern’s e4print will allow us to do exactly that. Using e4print our customers will be able to log on to their own intranet site which will automatically link into our website to place orders with us. We anticipate that the e4print solution will play a major role in supporting our planned growth in e-commerce trading.”
